- About UsSJ Company was established 25 + years ago by my grandfather, Carl Leslie. He stayed involved in the business until he passed away in 2005. I Justin Spence came into the business helping my grandfather while still in high school, so I have worked from the ground up. Then in 1990 Buddy Rhodes joined our family and the company. Although we are a small family business, we are very proud to have repeat clients, some which started with a hand shake. Our clients include local shopping centers, school districs, real estate managers, stanislaus county, hospitals, and private home owners. Various repeat clients are approaching 3rd roofing rewarranty. We are one of the few roofing contractors in the Central Valley that apply a cold process roof and seal metal roofs. We only use the Western Colloid roofing system. Our company assures a ten year warranty on all labor and material. When that ten year warranty has expired we will return and offer to rewarranty the roof for another ten years at a reduced rate.
